My idea is to do a punk rock magazine. This would be a good idea as there is is not many magazines for this music genre. The target audience would be males aged 16-25, who would probably belong to a scene demographic. The magazine would have good advertising potential as items such a clothing, food, and male/female cosmetics etc.
The reason i chose to do a punk rock based magazine was because it is a niche market that hasn't really been exploited. The magazine will offer the reader interview with the latest bands, information on gigs and concerts, and will also have competitions as well.
There are similar magazines about such as kerrange which will have a similar style but they do not focus on a specific music genre unlike mine.
Although punks like the ones on the picture are quite rare these days there is still alot of people into the music. Which will make my magazine very appealing to readers.
